Gomdra Khenpo Tsultrim Tenzin je opatem meditační školy v klášteře Triten Norbutse v Kátmándú.

Životopis
Gomdra Khenpo Tsultrim Tenzin se narodil v Khamu v provincii Hor. Na žádost svého otce vstoupil ve 13 letech do kláštera Lungkar. Tam se pod vedením lámy Lungkar Gelonga stal mnichem a věnoval se studiu nauk tradice bön a přípravným cvičením Ngöndro Bum Gu, která o rok později úspěšně završil.
Po několika letech odešel do kláštera Menri ve středním Tibetu. Zde studoval pod vedením lámy Kelzang Ňimy, od kterého obdržel mnoho nauk, mezi nimi i instrukce A-tri, a na základě zkušenosti plynoucí z těchto nauk dosáhl přímého pochopení Velké dokonalosti (dzogpa čhenpo).
Pro jeho velký zájem o hlubší pochopení Devíti cest bönu nastoupil na klášterní univerzitu v nepálském Káthmandů v klášteře Triten Norbutse, kde také potkal svého hlavního učitele Lobpön Tenzin Namdak Rinpočheho.
Zde absolvoval rozsáhlá studia súter, tanter a dzogčhenu. Studium po 12 letech v roce 2001 dokončil a obdržel titul geše (ekvivalent doktorátu z filozofie). Díky jeho hlubokému pochopení ho v roce 2002 Lobpön Tenzin Namdak jmenoval představeným meditační školy při klášteru Triten Norbutse, kde působí dodnes. Pro svůj vhled, jasnost, ryzost a oddanost je skvělým příkladem a inspirací pro mnoho mnichů, jogínů i laiků, kteří se rozhodnou věnovat se meditační praxi a přímému pochopení nauk tanter a Velké Dokonalosti.

Biography
Gomdra Khenpo Tsultrim Tenzin, was born in East Tibet (Kham), province of Hor. On request of his grandfather he become a monk at 13 years of age. At age of 14 he completed traditional set of preliminary practices for esoteric Bon doctrines, better known as "Ngondro Bumgu" according to Drenpa Yabse cycle. (Drenpa Yabse was largely followed practice cycle before the advent of Shadzapa's Kusum Rangshar.)
He stayed in Lungkar Gonpa and studied Bon philosophy and received transmission of Kalung Gamtso from Lama Lungkar Gelong there. He served there as ritual chant master for three years. Than he went to Meri Monastery in Central Tibet and studied there with Lama Kalzang Nyima. He received from him teaching on Monastic Discipline (Dulwa), Denod Dzod (Tantra related teachings authored by Shardzapa Tashi Gyltsen) and A Thrid (very important Bon Dzogchen Meditation manual). Thanks to the Lama Kalzang Nyima and his instructions on A Thrid he was graced with experiential understanding of Great Perfection (Dzogpa Chenpo).
Longing for even deeper emersion into Nine Vehicles of Bon, he went to foremost monastic university, Triten Norbutse Bon Monastery in Kathmandu, Nepal, where he met his root Lama Yongdzin Rinpoche (better known as Lopon Tenzin Namdak). He underwent extensive studies in Sutra, Tantra and Dzogchen there.
He served in the monastery for three years as chant master and another three years he was monastery disciplinarian. In year 2001 after completing 12 years of study he was awarded with title Geshe. Because of his extraordinary insight, in year 2002 he was appointed, by Yongdzin Rinpoche, as an abbot of Meditation School in Triten Norbutse Monastery.
He received three times complete Zhang Zhung Nyengyud transmission including initiations from Yongdzin Rinpoche. He also received all Bon initiations (wang) from Yongdzin Rinpoche and from Menri Trizin (twice). Regarding tantric Mother Tantra cycle of Magyud, he received corresponding teachings (MaGyud Gyud Sum - Base, Path and Result) and its wang from Yongdzin Rinpoche (on several occasions). Regarding Phagyud he received and studied the Throwo Gyud Drug (View, Meditation, Conduct, Samaya, Thrinle, Siddhi - Result for the Bon Father Tantra).
These are just to mention the most famous cycles of transmissions he was granted with. The full list of transmissions he holds would be too long and unnecessary for our purpose.
